Just like Zeus Poseidon is a son of Kronos and Rea. According to one sources he was the second son of Kronos. But, there are also informational sources according to which Poseidon is a first son of Kronos.

According to Greek mythology it was Kronos and his wife those who were first settlers of Olympus. Actually, there were some other gods before them, though Kronos drove the away and proclaimed that place as his home.

Apollo

He is a son of Zeus and goddess Letho. He is the most gorgeous god of Olympus. It is common to depict Apollo as a young man with golden-blond hair and blue eye. He is considered an embodiment of sun and so he is bright and kind. His mother were wandering around the world and wasn't able to find a shelter. One day she had born Apollo, a son of Zeus. From the very first moment she realized that he is a god but not a common baby.

Apollo has a twin sister and her name is Artemida. They were twins and they were of the same unbelievable beauty. Apollo was born in seven months, seven days and seven hours after his mother became pregnant. According to mythology the swans fly up the sky in the moment he was born. Those swans made seven circles around the island where Apollo and his mother were.

From the very moment he was born he never asked for breast milk like other babies did, he was asking for ambrosia, the god nectar. And so he was provided with ambrosia by the fairest goddess Femida. Ambrosia made him strong and he got up on his feet at once. On the third day of his life he killed a monster and so proved that he is a god but not a mortal person.

Apollo was sentenced to exile for killing monsters who offended his mother. That exile lasted for a year and he was a servant for cattleman. During that year Apollo multiplied the number of cattle and improved well-fares of the cattleman. He was also the one who built defensive walls of Troy.
